This book contains a collection of Historical & Genealogical notes relating to the community of Cresson from prior to 1850 to 1990. The book was published as a limited edition and is now out of print. Mr Smith’s goal was to include in the book everyone who lived in the Cresson area. Cresson is in the far north east corner of Hood County almost straddling the Parker and Johnson County line. The Cresson Cemetery is located in Johnson County. Many of the people indexed in the book may actually have lived in Parker or Johnson County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Information about an individual that is also posted in a Hood County Genealogical Society Web Page is highlighted in the index as a link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NAME PAGE NUMBER\nAbbott, 53\nAbernathy, 48\nAdams, Grady, 40\nAiken, 132\nAllmon, 51\nAnderson, Aaron Ben, 7\nAnderson, B., 31\nAnderson, Clyde, 76\nAnderson, Eva, 32\nAnderson, Hattie May, 32\nAnderson, John, 32\nAnderson, Pete, 42\nAnderson, Raymond, 31\nAnderson, Susan, 31\nAnderson, William, 41\nArcher, 125\nArp, 75\n\nBall, Julian, 130\nBall, Larry, 130\nBaker, 84\nBankhead, 130\nBaptist Church, 27\nBeasley, 117\nBerry, 133\nBobo, A.
