Hood County News - January 1, 2000
Together with J.F. and Jay Nutt, Thomas Lambert donated 40 acres of what was known as Lambert's branch for the new city of Granbury. The town of Granbury was incorporated by an act of Legislature in 1873.

Thomas Lambert was born July 29, 1807 and died January 21, 1873. He was buried in the Granbury Cemetery in Hood County, Texas. |
