OBITUARY<\/p>\n\n\n\n
LIPAN —<\/strong> Bobbie Howard, 71, owner of the Lipan Telephone Co., died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, in Weatherford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Lipan. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wiley Chapel in Lipan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Memorials: Church Building Fund, in care of First National Bank, Box 158, Lipan, Texas 76462.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mrs. Howard was born July 6, 1930, in Lipan. She married Herman Howard on Jan. 26, 1957, in Lipan. A lifelong resident of Lipan, Mrs. Howard and her husband owned the Lipan Telephone Co. and the Lipan Water Co. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was active in many community events and the Chieftan Club.
