Moore, Secretary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Contributed by&nbsp;Shirley Mendelson&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;Virginia Hale<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/granburydepot.org\/newsite\/school\/memories-of-back-to-school-at-granbury-campus\/\">Granbury College<\/a>&nbsp;was in operation from 1873 to 1912.&nbsp;&nbsp;The following treasure of information was located at The Center for American History at the University of Texas at Austin in the spring of 2005.&nbsp;&nbsp;The book was bound and came from a store in Granbury. There were many blank pages. Only the beginning of the book was written in. The book was in good shape with no torn pages, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The college had several names during its existence:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Granbury High School, 1873 to 1881<br>\u00b7&nbsp;Granbury Literary and Commercial College, 1881 to 1883<br>\u00b7&nbsp;Granbury College, 1883<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The college had also been called&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/granburydepot.org\/newsite\/school\/methodists-organize-granbury-university-training-school\/\">Granbury University Training School<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>TERMS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1873 &#8211; 1874 GRANBURY HIGH SCHOOL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>President: Rev.
