FRANK MORRIS PURSELLEY 1915 – 1992

F. Morris Purselley was born of Garland and Maude Purselley on February 18, 1915 at Mambrino, Hood County, Texas.

He was a farmer with his father until he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1942. He served three years, most of that time in the Medical Detachment, 1880th Service Unit at Camp Polk, Louisiana.

After returning home, he was employed as a welder for Thornton Industries of Fort Worth, Texas for 35 years, retiring in 1981.

In 1948 he married Helen Greenwood, and they raised three daughters: Jannette, Donna Sue, and Garla. He was a member of the Grace Bible Church of Fort Worth.

On Tuesday, August 18, 1992, he died at his home in Fort Worth. His service was conducted at the Shannon TCU Funeral Chapel. Burial was in the Nubbin Ridge Cemetery, Hood County, Texas.

His survivors were his wife Helen and their three daughters.
