Doyle C. Brisby listed his hometown at Bauxite, Arkansas. He was a student in Howard Payne College and graduated with a B.A. degree in 1952. He then entered Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated with a B.D. in 1955. He was pastor at Lipan, and Moderator of Paluxy Association in 1953 and 1954. He engaged in evangelistic work for some time and was pastor in Arkansas at the time of his death April 19, 1956.
