FAIRVIEW ITEMS

Grandma Robbins has been quite sick for some days, but is better of this writing.

Miss Nannie Walden of Baker school community entered Fairview Academy last Monday. Glad to have her with use.

Mr. J. J. Brewer is all smiles — says it’s a boy.

They do say Mr. Bob Dillard and a certain young lady are talking of going west. We wonder if they have up a case. She visited the west last summer and has everything planned out. Bob, a help-meet is sometimes a help-eat.

Mr. J. B. Hastings is on the sick list.

NERI NOTES

The public school at Contrary Creek celebrated on the 22nd. Contrary Creek school is not what it should be in every respect, but is making rapid strides in the right direction, and the trustees are doing all in their power to build a first class school and have made a splendid beginning.
