Granbury News- Pioneer Lipan Resident Dies at Home Monday
William Houston Hale, 62, died at his home in Lipan August 4 [1941] of a heart attack. Mr. Hale had lived in the Lipan community all his life. He was the son of M.R. Hale, a pioneer resident. He is survived by four sisters and one brother: Mrs. A.P. Campbell and Mrs. J. McCuan, of Lipan; Mrs. R.L. Milhollin, Stephenville; and Mrs. A.P. Roach, Mineral Wells, and Guy Hale of Wichita Falls. Rev. McQuerry of Perrin and Dobbs of Lipan conducted the services. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery with the Smith Funeral Home in charge.
