William Ernest Dodson listed his hometown as Wilmer, Alabama. He was a student in Southwestern Seminary and pastor at Rock Creek for a few years, and later at Tolar from 1960 to 1962. He presided as Moderator over the 1962 annual session of Paluxy Association. His last known address was as Chaplain in the U.S. Navy.
