Lola Maude Sears of Granbury, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000 in Granbury. She was 93.

Mrs. Sears (Lola Maude Peveler) was born April 19, 1907 in Granbury. Her parents were Lewis and Mary Kerr Peveler and she married Thomas Dewey Sears July 1935 in Weatherford. She was a member of the Cresson United Methodist.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Dewey Sears.

She is survived by three nieces, Mary Dozier of Coleman, Margaret Randel of Abilene and Kay Young of California; two nephews, Clay Phillips Jr. of Granbury, and Rus Beheler of Fort Worth; and numerous great-and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Services were Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000 in Wiley Funeral Home. Burial was in the Cresson Cemetery. Wiley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
