Granbury College was in operation from 1873 to 1912. The following treasure of information was located at The Center for American History at the University of Texas at Austin in the spring of 2005. The book was bound and came from a store in Granbury. There were many blank pages. Only the beginning of the book was written in. The book was in good shape with no torn pages, etc.
The college had several names during its existence:
· Granbury High School, 1873 to 1881
· Granbury Literary and Commercial College, 1881 to 1883
· Granbury College, 1883
The college had also been called Granbury University Training School.
